There will be some light contact, (called marking) but generally not for new students. We want to ensure that you are eased into Krav Maga and not intimidated. This also protects the safety of others since new students often don’t possess good control. Striking a balance between realism and safety is a daily point of discussion in Urban Kombat classes.
Garth is a fantastic trainer and the cohort is very friendly and a wonderfully diverse group of people. Super welcoming and made me (an absolute beginner) feel at home straightaway. Great place to train in the inner west.
